FORMULA 1 RISKS

In any professional sector there are all kinds of risks, and different safety measures must be applied to protect workers on a collective and individual level. Formula 1 is undoubtedly one more sector, made up of a risky sport and in which large amounts are invested in more advanced safety measures in order to avoid risks. 


if the drivers did not wear a special flammable suit, they would be burned to death.

This is because in any crash the car is at risk of catching fire due to high speed impacts, the suits can withstand up to 400 degrees Celsius for more than 10 seconds.



If cotutores do not protect their necks in a crash, they will break their necks at speed 

Another accident was that of the famous Roland Ratzenberger at the Imola circuit (Italy). He crashed at the exit of a fast corner against the metal wall and the car was destroyed, breaking his neck.

 





if a driver does not take precautions during the race, he puts the other drivers at risk

if it were not for the safety measures implemented in recent years, the number of pilots killed and injured would probably increase considerably.
